  • Find a vet

By law, your puppy must wear a tag on his collar showing your name, address and, preferably, phone number. The easiest way to get a dog tag is to order one over the internet.

But because collars can slip off or tear, we very much recommend microchipping: it’s quick, painless, permanent and effective. Ask your vet to insert the chip and you’ll have a far better chance of a happy reunion should your puppy stray.
